World Record Attempt!

Today Dan and Louise joined hundreds of others at attempting to break the world record for the 'Largest water fight ever'. It was organised by the Variety Club and entry was what is commonly called here a 'gold coin donation' ie $1 (same as £1! even has the queen's head on!)

The rules were that every one registering had to have a water pistol, no buckets, Balloons etc rules are rules and it had to be water pistols! The current record is held by a Los Angeles University with 1,173 participants! Look it up under Human Achievements - Mass Participation! Hopefully here in Napier there was sufficient turnout to beat the current record. But we'll have to wait and see once the head count has been made public.

They were all split into 2 sides....... Then a massive big count down..

I managed to find Louise and some of her friends as they stopped for a refill!



Then they caught site of Dan going for a refill and ambushed him!!!



Unfortunately Dan's friends had deserted him!



And then on the way back to the car we met some of the NZ Breakers! They are a basketball team and they are very tall!!!
