Not Here...! We're there..!

We (myself and the kids) have taken a 4 week trip back to the UK. First we had to hop on to a small plane for the flight from Napier to Auckland. There we caught our first longhall flight to Singapore (10 hours). Many passengers had surgical masks on I guess to prevent catching swine flu. We arrived into a very hot and sticky Singapore Airport where there were even more people walking around with surgical masks on!! A few hours later we were on our final flight to the UK, flying time 13 hours!! OMG!! Didn't take the kids too long to zone into the in flight entertainment system!!

High School Prom...

Dan had his High School Prom Saturday night. These are the flowers (corsage!) that he had to order for his date and himself!

Unfortunately no pictures of him and his date as they both had separate 'pre prom get togethers'. So, Dan and some of his friends..



Rather than be driven to the event in his parents car, Dan managed to get a ride in a 1959 Cadillac....

It's Winter time...

Winter officially started here in the Southern hemisphere on June 1st, and we've had a few cold and frosty days.

Most of the leaves have gone from the trees.

There are still some trees that have rich golden leaves.

And the vines are all bare......

As the sheep have been feasting....
