Summer is nearly here!

On the 1st December it's offically Summer here and the weather is warming up nicely!

Today we took the dogs down to the beach for a run....



Then in the afternoon as the temperature was climbing in to the 30's..



We spent the afternoon in the pool...

At the River.... Video clips...!

I've finally worked out how to upload video clips.... These are my first goes... They are a bit wobbly as I was on my own with the dogs!!

We're moving towards summer now and today the temp in the shade was 30!!



Louise had a friend round and they spent ages in the pool!

For Sale: Push Bike.....

Dan passed his 'restricted' driving test end of Oct. He did have plans to continuing biking to school to save money on fuel. That didn't even last a day as the day after passing he was driving to school. It is weird that he goes off to school in the morning in his school uniform and then gets into his car!!

An afternoon's lesson in car maintenance....

Birdies....

Whilst doing alot of pruning and hacking back foliage.. (Stuff grows really fast here.. I swear sometimes I can actually watch the grass grow.. its that fast!!!) We came across these chaps... Luckily we were only half way through sawing their branch so we've left them.. Looks like they could be leaving the nest in a short while!



Monday 26th October....

Snow on the Ranges...

Recently we had a large dumping of snow on the ranges around us....


We took the dogs out for a run at the beach... The kids had fun too!




We also spotted some cormorants sun bathing.... But we disturbed them and they flew off!

We've had a lot of rain recently.... Took the dogs for a walk down by the river only we couldn't because the water was bank to bank...
