Mission Concert - Rod Stewart..

Went to see Rod Stewart perform at the annual Mission Estate Concert. Weather wasn't the best, it rained! It didn't stop us polishing off a few bottles of Mission Estate Sav. As always a few pictures from the evening. One of the Support acts, and a view of the crowd behind us.


Rod himself, onstage for 2hrs and performed 27 songs..

Art Deco Weekend - Napier

Our first venture into the annual Art Deco Weekend which is HUGE here in Napier. We opted for the 'Vintage Train Trip' to Gisborne and back. It was a looooong day... Something we didn't count on was 'Vintage comfort' on a vintage carridge! So some pictures of the day..

During January and February, Napier has quite a few Cruise Ships visiting... Took these pictures from Bluff Hill lookout on Napier Hill.

So we put the garden sprinkler on for the dogs to cool down...


It didn't take too long for them to get bored with it so we moved on to the hosepipe! Barney......

Driving into town and came across a highways vehicle in the middle of the road that signaled me to pull over to the side as a wide load was coming thru...

Animals..

Our neighbours went away for a week and asked us to look after their, Hens, Dog, Cats, birds and fish!!

We walked their dog when we took Archie and Barney out....


And feasted on free range eggs for a week thanks to their Chooks!
